 CARGO HANDLING RATES AND CONTAINER
  Container handling with average capacity is 20 containers/ Hr/ gang (with three Libeler harbor mobile cranes).
 Handling all homogenous project cargoes/ steel products/ other conventional cargoes handling. Average capacity of steel product handling is 2,500 MT/ day/ gang.
Bulk cargoes (fertilizer, wheat, raw sugar, feed mill) handling and bagged with average capacity of 25MT/ Hr/ line (10 automatic lines).
Handling heavy and bulky cargo (up to 150T under lifting beam by two combined Liebherr harbor mobile cranes).
TALLYING Checking goods, delivery/ receiving cargo and container via port, storage and CY.
PRESERVATION OF CARGO AND CONTAINER
 With the totality of warehouse area 11.520m2 and 200.000m2 CY, port is available to preserve various kind of cargo for instance: container, bulky cargo, poisonous cargo… including dangerous cargo.
Port supplies power ( system of electric wires and stand-by generator sets) and preservation of reefer container.
Port supplies various kind of container maintenance and repair service at the workshop and other services relating to port.
BONDED WAREHOUSES SERVICES
Ben Nghe Port is one of the Vietnam entrepreneur get an operated licensed for bonded warehouse services with 4 units of warehouses in the totality area of 4,320 m˛ ( the year of 1994) which might preserve various kind of cargoes and now is operating smoothly.
BEN NGHE ICD
Ben Nghe ICD officially came into operation on June 20, 2003 under the decision No 2678/QD-BTC issued on Dec 26, 2002 from Ministry of Finance.
Main services:
Loading/discharge container, preservation and deliver/receiving container as well as CFS merchandise.
Make a customs declaration at Customs Branch office Sector 4.
Forward container as well as general cargoes into terminal from Ben Nghe port, Saigon New port, Catlai port and VICT port.
Stevedoring:
The skill labor force are working at a number of big ports such as: Ben Nghe port, SaiGon New port, VICT port, Binh Duong port, Song Than Industrial Zone…
